Los Angeles, CA – BBC Worldwide North America announced today the appointment of Susana Voets to the role of Vice President, Communications for BBC Worldwide Productions and Adjacent Productions, the production arms of BBC Worldwide North America.  Based in Los Angeles, Voets will report to Christine Black, SVP, Communications & Events for BBC Worldwide North America.

As VP, Voets will strategize and implement communications plans, handle talent relations, special events, and awards campaigns, and collaborate with cable and broadcast partners on program publicity across the entire production slate for both entities, which includes global brands Top Gear (U.S.) and Dancing with the Stars, which recently concluded its 20^th season.

Regarding Voets’ appointment, Christine Black said, “Susana’s extensive experience working on high-profile television series and with top talent, combined with her exposure to international markets, will be a huge asset to the company as our two production entities’ – BBC Worldwide Productions and Adjacent Productions – slate of programs continues to grow.”

Prior to joining BBC Worldwide Productions and Adjacent Productions, Voets worked independently as a publicity and talent relations consultant following a 14 year career in publicity at Sony Pictures Television (SPT). At SPT, she was most recently Executive Director, International Publicity and Talent Relations working across series like Breaking Bad, The Big C, Justified, Community, Damages, and The Tudors. In her role, Voets secured talent for international press maximizing opportunities to support the sale of SPT’s series and movies worldwide.  Prior to joining SPT, Voets worked for Warner Bros. International Television and the National Research Group in Los Angeles.
