Claudia Milne Appointed Editor Of BBC.com/News’ North America Edition
Veteran BBC editor and producer to lead North American online news efforts
New York, NY – BBC Worldwide Americas announced today that Claudia Milne has been appointed Editor of BBC.com/news’ North America edition, which attracts 21 million* unique users per month. Milne will be responsible for leading a team of online journalists out of the Washington DC bureau, day-to-day editorial direction, and all online content originating from North America.
Milne will expand and drive a team focused on increasing video content; an enhanced social media presence surrounding BBC.com/news, and commissioning original news features from North America. She most recently served as Deputy Editor for BBC World News America, an Emmy® and Peabody Award winning program.

During her 17 years with the BBC, Milne has served as Senior Producer of BBC Newsnight, Producer of BBC News 24 and BBC Hardtalk, as well as Researcher for BBC World & BBC Timewatch.
