Mexico City, Mexico – BBC Worldwide Sales & Distribution Latin America announced a deal today with Turner Latin America at the BBC Worldwide Screenings Mexico event for a broad range of top titles including dramas Misfits and Inside Men, as well as music special One Direction – A Year in the Making.

Misfits is a BAFTA Award-winning comedy drama for the Facebook generation. The characters are unruly teenagers begrudgingly forced to carry out community service as payback for the crimes they committed, until a freak storm turned them into the most unlikely superheroes. Misfits is a Clerkenwell Film Production and stars Nathan Stewart-Jarrett (Casualty, Money), Iwan Rheon (Wild Bill, The Back of Beyond), Lauren Socha (Five Daughters, The Unloved), Matthew McNulty (The Paradise, Bread), and Joseph Gilgun (Emmerdale, Lockout). The Writer is Howard Overman. The Executive Producers are Murray Ferguson and Petra Fried.

Inside Men is a thrilling drama about employees of a security depot who plan and execute a multimillion pound cash heist. A BBC production, Inside Men stars Steven Mackintosh (Luther, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), Warren Brown (Luther, Occupation) and Kierston Wareing (The Shadow Line, Luther). The Producer is Colin Wratten (Waking the Dead, The Turn of the Screw) and Executive Producer is Hilary Salmon (Criminal Justice, Five Days, Silk). The Director is James Kent (Marchlands, The Secret Diaries of Miss Anne Lister). The Writer is Tony Basgallop (Hotel Babylon, Hughie Green, Most Sincerely).

In a very short space of time, One Direction has become a phenomenal worldwide musical success. One Direction – A Year in the Making is a funny, exciting and at times moving and poignant film, which shows how the band’s five teenage musicians coped when they attained fame and their world was turned upside down. This Fulwell 73 production for Sony Music stars band members Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson.
