Top of the Lake
From Oscar winning writer/director Jane Campion and the Oscar winning producers of The King’s Speech, Top of the Lake is a powerful and haunting mystery story set at the edge of the world where searching for a missing person becomes the obsession of an inexperienced investigator. Top of the Lake stars Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men, The West Wing), David Wenham (The Lord of the Rings, Public Enemies), Peter Mulland (War Horse, Tyrannosaur) and Holly Hunter (Saving Grace, The Piano).
A Young Doctor’s Notebook
Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe star in this wry comedy drama about a young doctor’s fledgling career as he begins his new life in a small, backwards Russian village. Based on the semi- autobiographical short stories by Bulgakov, set on the eve of the Russian Revolution, it tells the story of the young graduate’s turbulent and brutal introduction to his practice, narrated by his older, more experienced self. The drama stars Jon Hamm (Mad Men, 30 Rock), Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Rosie Cavaliero (Little Dorrit).
Loving Miss Hatto
Starring Alfred Molina (An Education, Roger and Val Have Just Got In), and Francesca Annis (Cranford, Jane Eyre), and scripted by Victoria Wood, this moving drama charts the incredible story of pianist Joyce Hatto, considered among the greatest pianists in Britain, her relationship with her husband and the controversial recordings that made her famous.
Room at the Top
Set in post-war Britain, this drama follows a young man’s struggle to rise above the world of his childhood. An ambitious and attractive young man, he moves to a wealthy town and it’s not long before he’s attracted the attentions of a rich and very pretty girl. But he is already in love with another woman and he must choose between them. Room at the Top stars Matthew McNulty (Five Days, Lark Rise to Candleford), Maxine Peake (Silk, Little Dorrit) and Jenna Louise Coleman (Emmerdale, Waterloo Road).
Coldplay Live 2012
Coldplay’s hugely successful fifth studio album Mylo Xyloto reached the top spot in dozens of countries and the supporting tour has seen the band perform in stadiums across the UK, Europe, UAE, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. This film brings together the highlights from shows that have thrilled fans in sold-out stadiums around the world.
