BBC Worldwide Showcase Latin America Confirms Ronaldo Lemos of the Fundacao Getúlio Vargas Center for Technology and Society and Fabio Coelho of Google Brazil

New York, NY – BBC Worldwide Latin America has confirmed leading digital technology experts Ronaldo Lemos, Director of the Center for Technology and Society at the Fundação Getúlio Vargas School in Rio de Janeiro, and Fabio Coelho, Director of Google Brazil, to take part in this year’s digital sessions at BBC Worldwide Showcase Latin America.  Lemos will deliver the event’s digital keynote address and Coelho will participate in “Learnings from the Digital Front Lines” session, both being held on Tuesday, August 28th.

As Latin American’s only television market hosted by a single distributor, BBC Showcase Latin America will welcome broadcasters and buyers from across the region for exclusive screenings of BBC Worldwide’s latest programs. Clients will also have the opportunity to screen over 50,000 hours of first-class content across all genres from BBC Worldwide program sales catalog.  BBC Showcase Latin America will run from Sunday, August 26th through Tuesday, August 28th 2012 at the Windsor Atlantica Hotel located in Copacabana.
