North Hollywood, CA – Jane Tranter, EVP, Programming & Production, BBC Worldwide Productions, today announced the appointment of Izzie Pick as Vice President, Programming Development.  Based in North Hollywood, Izzie reports to John Hesling, SVP, Programming, BBC Worldwide Productions.  In her role, Izzie manages the company’s talent department and works with the unscripted development team to recognizeand nurture new creative opportunities arising from the BBC and the UK independent sector, while also creating original concepts in line with U.S. network needs.

Most recently, Izzie joined the BBC Worldwide Productions team in January 2008 as contracted Executive Producer. Prior to joining the team, Izzie served as Co-Executive Producer on the company’s hit reality-competition series, Dancing with the Stars. Izzie’s career with the BBC super brand began on the original format, Strictly Dancing and eventually Strictly Come Dancing,which continues its run as the UK version of DWTS. Her career spans over 15 years in the production business both in the U.S. and UK, also serving as producer on various unscripted successes including Big Brother (UK) and Celebrity Big Brother (UK).
