Los Angeles, CA – BBC Worldwide Productions and Adjacent Productions received eight Primetime Emmy® nominations this morning. The announcement was made by the Television Academy of Arts and Sciences. This is the ninth consecutive year that the show has received a nomination in the Outstanding Reality-Competition Program category.  Additionally, Dancing with the Stars’ host and veteran television personality, Emmy® winning Tom Bergeron, was nominated in the Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program category for the fifth year in a row. Dancing with the Stars’ professional ballroom dancer and choreographer and Emmy® winner, Derek Hough, received a nomination also this year for his work on Dancing with the Stars. Hough has now received a total of six nominations in the Outstanding Choreography category. The Technical Direction team of DWTS also gained its eighth nod for Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video Control For A Series category, helping Hector Ramirez usher a new record of 72 career nominations – the most of any individual in Emmy® history.

Da Vinci’s Demons, produced by Adjacent Productions, received one Emmy® nomination from the Television Academy for its second season on Starz for Outstanding Special and Visual Effects In a Supporting Role. This is Da Vinci’s Demons fourth nomination for the series.
