BBC Worldwide and TBS Drum Up Music Content Deal at NATPE

Miami, FL – BBC Worldwide Sales & Distribution, today announced a deal with TBS Latin America that includes a diverse collection of music programming featuring leading musical acts from around the world.  Highlights of the deal include an exclusive, intimate concert with the celebrated English alternative rock group in Radiohead: The King of Limbs – Live From the BasementThe Brit Awards 2012, a star-studded event that features live performances and unique collaborations from some of the biggest artists in the business, the documentary Take That – Look Back, Don’t Stare which follows one of the UK’s most successful pop bands, and Blur – No Distance Left To Run, a feature length documentary that follows the hit 90’s rock band on their reunion tour after a 10-year hiatus.  The deal was brokered by Janel Downing, Sales Manager, BBC Worldwide Sales & Distribution Latin America

TBS also picked up programming from BBC Worldwide’s documentary catalog, including two documentaries from BBC television presenter and famed documentarian Louis Theroux, America’s Medicated Kids and Miami Mega Jail.  Critically acclaimed BBC Worldwide comedies Little Britain and Come Fly With Me, starring comedic duo Matt Lucas and David Walliams, and Friday Night Dinner were also licensed by TBS.
