BBC Worldwide America and Starz Kids & Family Announce First Time Deal For Children’s Titles Wingin’ It And Sadie J

New York, NY – BBC Worldwide America Sales & Distribution today announced a first time sale to STARZ KIDS & FAMILY for the critically-acclaimed children’s titles, Wingin’ It and Sadie J. The popular teen- focused shows will air on the network’s “Six Block” programming franchise, with Wingin’ It scheduled to premiere on March 1, 2013 and Sadie J joining the block on September 1, 2013.

Wingin’ It
Temple Street Productions’ teen comedy, Wingin’ It, is the story of a reckless angel-in-training who has been sent to Earth to earn his wings. His mission is to transform a hapless student into the most popular kid in school. If he succeeds, he’ll get real wings and a halo. If he doesn’t, it’ll be a thousand years before he gets the chance to try again.Wingin’ It stars Dylan Everett (How to Be Indie),  Demetrius Joyette (The Latest BuzzRoxy Hunter and the Horrific Halloween),  Brittany Adams, Hannah Lochner, Sebastian Hearn and Wayne Thomas Yorke (AJ’s Time Travellers).

Sadie J
BBC’s BAFTA-nominated, Sadie J, is the story of the title character, Sadie Jenkins, who is the only girl in her vast family. And although there’s not a boyish pursuit she hasn’t been forced to endure, Sadie is quickly growing up. From fashion faux pas, to disastrous dates and make-up meltdowns, Sadie’s journey from tomboy to girly girl is quite a ride. Sadie J stars Georgia Lock(Download), Priyanka PatelRonan Carter (Life on the LineMam), Steve Speirs (Hunky Dory, Extras) and Alfie Stewart (The Great Ghost Rescue).
