BBC STUDIOS PROMOTES EVE FREDERICK TO
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF PRODUCTION
FOR ITS LOS ANGELES PRODUCTION ARM
Los Angeles, CA – BBC Studios announces the promotion of Eve Frederick to Senior Vice President of Production for its Los Angeles production arm. Frederick is a key leader of unscripted production for the established business, which achieved record growth in 2021, launching an array of new Los Angeles productions, spanning from originals to U.S. adaptations of hit global formats. She oversees production teams for a variety of BBC Studios produced series, including three series under the Emmy-winning Life Below Zero banner on National Geographic, the hit true crime documentary Murder Among the Mormons for Netflix, Ex-Rated hosted by Andy Cohen on Peacock, and Top Gear America on MotorTrend. Frederick works to ensure the safety of cast and crew across varied locations, in addition to acting as the point person for sustainability initiatives for BBC Studios’ Los Angeles office and its productions.

Frederick was most recently Vice President of Production for BBC Studios, Los Angeles Productions. Her additional series credits at BBC Studios include Port Protection and Breaking Bobby Bones for National Geographic and Texicanas for Bravo. Prior to joining BBC Studios in 2018, she helped build the Los Angeles arm of Matador Content, where she was ultimately named Executive in Charge. At Matador, she oversaw development and series projects with Viacom, HBO, ABC, Facebook, National Geographic, SyFY, AMC, GSN, A&E and Oxygen. Her credits also include the Apple Music documentary Give Me Future, which premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. Frederick began her career with roles at Discovery, Oxygen and MTV Networks, where she managed on-air promos largely focused in the music space. She has also worked in commercial, promotional, event and music production with companies including HBO, Viacom, Den of Thieves, 3 Ball, Cineflix and Radical Media.
