Successful BBC Earth Section Launch and Continued Rise in Traffic to Feature Sections Contribute to Growth

New York, NY – today announced that Q4 yielded its highest traffic to date, on the heels of four successive quarters of growth across 2014, making one of the top ranked sites within the general news category according to comScore.

Total digital population (desktop and mobile combined) for in Q4 averaged 31.6M unique visitors in the U.S., up 14% over the previous quarter. The site also reached a new peak figure on mobile devices reaching 12.6M unique visitors – up 20% over previous bests. Driving factors contributing to this ongoing growth include:
