Senior Vice President, Marketing

As Senior Vice President, Marketing, Jennifer Ball is responsible for elevating and growing the BBC Studios brand across multiple business units in North America and Latin America. A builder of premium media brands, Ball oversees a portfolio of marketing disciplines, including research, brand marketing, direct-to-consumer marketing, and content licensing.

Before joining BBC Studios, Ball built a unique portfolio within content distribution, consumer marketing, and brand development. As the Head of Marketing and Brand at Promax, Ball led the first rebrand in the organization’s 60-year history. Earlier, as the Senior Vice President, then Executive Vice President, of Marketing & Content Partnerships at Univision Communications Inc., Ball created a full-service internal marketing agency that serviced top distributors and was key in establishing Univision as one of the nation’s largest multimedia companies serving Hispanic America. She was the executive marketing lead in the expansion of the company from three linear networks to a collection of highly profitable networks and digital properties, building the company’s second-largest revenue-generating business. Ball has also served in leadership roles at A+E Networks and Comcast, where she launched and transformed marketing divisions.

Ball has received numerous marketing awards and industry accolades. She received Cablefax “Most Powerful Women in Cable” honors for four consecutive years and was named a Multichannel News “Wonder Woman.” Her teams have also earned multiple marketing, digital, and communications awards.

A graduate in sociology and communications from Clark University, Ball is a fellow of the Betsy Magness Leadership Program through Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) and the Center for Creative Leadership. She is based in New York.
